CILT Program

Camper in Leadership Training

Built within Summer Burn Camp at Cheley Colorado Camps is our Camper in Leadership Training (CILT) Program. This leadership program is offered for campers that are in their final two years of eligibility to attend summer camp. Campers who choose to apply to this program are required to complete an additional application describing their leadership skills and their goals for participation.

As a component of their application they must complete a community service project and report on the skills they learned while giving back to their community. These campers continue their leadership training within summer camp and practice the skills learned within the camp environment. At the completion of their participation in the program they report on skills they have learned through participation in camp and share with younger campers their goals and their plans for their future.
