CILT Program
Campers in Leadership Training
The Campers in Leadership Training (CILT) Program is offered to teenage campers in their final two years of eligibility to attend Summer Camp. Candidates for the CILT program submit an application for the leadership program in addition to their camp application, describing their leadership skills and goals for the program.
CILTs are leaders among their peers. They have opportunities mentor young campers, lead activities at camp, foster connection within their cabins, and practice public speaking.
For CILTs, camp starts early. They meet with their CILT counselors virtually before camp, sharing goals and making plans to stretch themselves in their new role at camp. CILTs arrive to camp a day before other campers, giving them extra time to settle in and craft a plan to meet their goals throughout the course of the week.
